What about purgatory? Maybe you don’t go directly to Heaven but end up there eventually. I agree with the title and next line of that Billy Joel song, Only the good die young. As for the lyrics you quoted, I guess if Christians are as judgmental in Heaven as some are here on earth he may be right. As to whether or not I’m looking forward to going to Heaven I have to say yes but I’m in no hurry!

I think this is one of the places where many people leave the teachings of Scripture and make up their own religion. Of course if you make up your own religion, you are your own god.
