My friend notoriously picks the worst movie showing, but I go with her when it’s her turn to pick. Luckily Malia was fussy and I had a good excuse to spend some of the time in the hallway. It never got better… just really stupid.

I agree with your completely. I also agree with your comment from your conference. Most of the time we Christians tend to be too forgiving to the point of letting current culture seep into our children’s lives.
I for one have decided to get mad – and make noise wherever I can, to stand up for what I feel is right… or, should I say, for what God says is right!
Glad you and Rachel got a night out – spending quality time with your spouse is really important (only second to spending time with God). This goes double for a Pastor – after all, you, as a Pastor, whether you like it or not, are the role model for many people! Way to go!
