Bobby,
It's true, Starbucks, It's A Grind, etc. have made coffee a part of our day. A play to "take a break" and have fellowship w/ a friend, etc. Revolution provides a great atmosphere to be comfortable in.
I am excited to see your "Creativity" seminars expand. That Hub is a great facility, and art (with coffe, Of Course!) is certainly going to "draw" people in. (Horrible pun, so sorry!)
:) Lori Scott

When I enter my favorite coffee stop -It's A Grind -I think of the theme to the TV show Cheers.
"Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got.
Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot.
Wouldn't you like to get away?
Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name,
and they're always glad you came.
You wanna be where you can see,
our troubles are all the same
You wanna be where everybody knows
Your name."
When I walk in the people behind the counter have taken the time to get to know my name and what I usually like to order. They come out from behind the counter and chat for a bit. It is so nice and it makes me want to come back. I agree with the article you referred to. If we really want to make people feel welcomed and wanted we must go out of our way and talk to them. I think we do a pretty good job at Revolution.
