What draws me to Christmas, oops Holidays on the Prado is all there is to do. The most popular thing there seems to be sampling the foods from other countries. The lines for bratwurst from Germany and Crepes from France are always long. Why don't you invite a local school choir to participate? Nothing gets people out faster than a chance to see their kids.

Lots of people make crafts.....good time to shop for small Christmas gifts....how about some kind of craft show? We've done that at work for the last couple of years. It gets a good turnout and people get to display and sell their homemade goodies. We have jewelry, candles, woodworking products, etc. You could start out with asking the people in your church if they would like to sell their stuff......you probably have a lot more people in the congregation that make things than you think. We get so many employees signing up that we have to do it on a first come first serve basis. Then, if there are any spots left, they go to a family member, etc. You might be surprised!
