Friend from SoCal - you know that fantastic place where you used to live. I check your blog because, well basically you are my inspiration - I am vicariously living my life as a young(er) man who is deeply passionate about God, family, and church (in that order). Oh, for a profession I am a Real Estate Appraiser (don't blame me people) and the official 'pooper scooper' for our denomination, the RCA and most importantly, John Calvin's buddy.

It says it's Megan, but I'm Tim, your brother-in-law. I'm not your brother-in-law by profession, but a Recreation Supervisor running sports leagues. Frankly, I check your blog just to see what you have to say. Generally, I'll always watch your worship confessionals (which apparently, you don't do anymore). Just about any post that is longer than the length of the computer screen, I'll gloss over. Usually, posts about technology in the church, culture changes in church, etc. I should probably be reading those for some good opinions but just choose not to. I will read about family stuff, like Rachel's Lasik surgery or your 8-hour TV babysitting in Oregon. Also, the eclectic Santa Cruz is always interesting.

Hmm.... I led worship a lot growing up, helped launch a church, got burned, and now I'm waiting on what God wants to bring next. My wife and I both have FT jobs, but we both want to be in FT ministry so bad we can taste it. I read to see what songs people are doing, what problems they're having, leadership development tips, etc.
