I doubt that it was that they thought he was too fragile, but I'd agree it was a little biased. Although the GOP ticket was a bit easier to poke fun at.
And that was my point. It was kind of a joke. The show would have had plenty of material for another 4 years if McCain won. With Obama, they might have to work a little harder. ;)

I love this post. I love your honesty and the direction of your thoughts.
You are right about W. It became so much of a hatefest, that his policies could not be debated rationally. I think that actually hurt our country because it forced him into a "my way or the highway" mentallity. Let's not put Obama in the same boat of thinking, "Whatever I do, you will hate me for it. I might as well do whatever I feel like and screw the rest of you."
One last thought, SNL actully won. At least their guy won. You notice, they never put Obama in an unflattering light. I guess they, like EVERYONE else in the media, think Obama is too fragile to handle the criticism... We'll see in the coming days if they were right.

Bobby,
Well said. I agree with you 100%. (you can pick your jaw up now). I do see that this election has caused many a christ follower to begin a new fervent prayer life!
It is very troubling to me that people did vote along racial lines (kinda like affirmative action) instead of on ability. I too had major issues with both candidates - but supported the one I felt more 'closely' aligned with my christian world view - not the one that more closely resembled me (no age jokes please) or what I think the White House should look like.
Double Amen to being a Citizen of the Kingdom - That's why I proudly have the saying, "Not of this world" on my truck - and not a flag or elephant.
