I thought it was so obvious on the show that she’s supposed to stick with the plan and go on with the attack. We don’t negotiate with terrorists!!! And aren’t the bad guys in her administration wanting her to do the opposite. Why would we want them to win?
Away from the show I think I feel the same way, although it’s a little tougher to say. Fun conversation, but also crazy to think what it’s like to actually be the president! I don’t want the job.

I don’t think there is a right or wrong answer. Everyone who has posted has made a valid point, that’s why it’s so hard to find a middle ground with these issues. I know I would rather die for something than stand for nothing!

When did renouncing faith come into the picture.
Does loyalty come into play here? A presidents loyalty is first and foremost to the country he/she presides over, and he/she should act in the best interest of the individuals in that country. Rocked.

My point is, you can’t let a terrorist dictate your foreign policy. And you have to stand for principles. If someone were threatening my life if my wife didn’t renounce her faith in Jesus or something, I hope she’d do the right thing and let me die.

My case is the same case you would make if you were forced to choose between saving your wife and a woman you didn’t know from being murdered. You would obviously save your wife right? Be careful… does rachel read this stuff?
